The Dawson Academy provided dental course that for decades have proven to be the foundation for the practice of complete predictable dentistry. The Academy teaches the essential principles and skills for complete dental care - with concentration on dental occlusion (bite). Temporomandibular joint and comprehensive restorative dentistry.
1982-present, Fellowship (1997), Mastership eligible: Dr. Smith was distinguished with a Fellowship award in 1997 for his dedication to Continuing Education. In order to receive a fellowhship he needed 600 hours of approved continuing education plus was required to pass a rigorous test. He is almost eligible for the Mastership Award, needing only 200 more hours.
Dr. Smith has been recognized by his peers as a 2011 topDentist™. This honor is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which general dentists and specialists throughout the area cast votes on the abilities of other dentists and specialists.
